Job Title: Sales & Marketing Intern
Location: Laub\Hunt Packaging Systems, Norwalk, CA
Duration: 4 months, part-time, 10 to 19 hours per week, hybrid
Compensation: $17.00 per hour

We provide turnkey packaging solutions to a wide range of industries, including chemicals, automotive fluids, personal care, cosmetics, and food & beverage. Known for our leadership in the bleach industry, supplying over 80% of bleach fillers in the U.S., we also have a strong international presence, with customers across Canada, Central and South America, the Caribbean, and the Asia-Pacific region.
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Sales & Marketing Intern to support our business development and marketing efforts. This is a hands-on opportunity for students interested in gaining real-world experience in sales outreach, market research, and digital content creation within a global manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Content Creation
- Develop engaging content for the company website, social media channels, and email campaigns.
- Assist with copywriting, visuals, and campaign planning to support marketing goals.
- Lead Generation & Research
- Identify prospective customers within targeted industries such as chemicals, automotive fluids, cosmetics, personal care, and food & beverage.
- Gather relevant contact information and qualify potential leads through research and outreach.
- Customer Outreach
- Support marketing and sales efforts through email campaigns, social media engagement, and occasional outbound communication.
- Collaborate with the team to introduce potential customers to Laub\Hunt’s products and services.
- Pipeline & CRM System Management
- Maintain accurate customer and lead information in the company’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system.
- Track activities, interactions, and follow-ups to support the sales pipeline and team workflows.
- Market Research
- Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and customer needs across global regions including North America, Central/South America, and Asia-Pacific.
- Summarize insights to help identify new opportunities and support strategic decision-making.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Work closely with both sales and marketing teams to align outreach, lead generation, and content development.
- Support trade show preparation, marketing campaigns, and other collaborative initiatives.
Qualifications:
Required:
- Current undergraduate or graduate student pursuing a degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field or alumnus with a degree in those fields of study.
- Minimum GPA of 3.0
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks at once.
- Familiarity with CRM or marketing tools is a plus, but not required.
- Self-driven with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong research skills and interest in sales, marketing, or industrial markets.

- Interest or experience in industrial equipment, manufacturing, or packaging machinery.
- Awareness of international markets, particularly in Canada, Central/South America, or Asia-Pacific.
