Laub\Hunt Rotary Mag-Flow Filler

Mag-Flow-Filling uses a meter to sense the flow of liquid. There are three types of meters: Paddle-wheel which engages the product and rotates an encoder to send pulse signals; thermal which engages the product and monitors differential temperatures between standing and moving product; and magnetic which does not engage the product, but monitors flow from conductive liquids. Of the three, only the mag-flow meter can be programmed to monitor mass flow movement at 375 per second. This high rate of counting creates a very accurate and repeatable fill volume --- plus or minus one quarter of one per cent with automatic fill weight compensation. This is what is used on the Laub\Hunt Mass-Flow-Filler.

Laub\Hunt Mass Flow filler features repeated fill accuracy of 1/4 of 1% with automatic fill weight compensation; vacuum No-Drip nozzles; sanitary meters suitable for food grade products or chemicals with complete CIP capability; extended versatility to handle wide range of products and container sizes, including water thin and highly viscous liquids, or containers from ounces to 5 gallon; user-friendly electronic controls allowing the operator to set, adjust fill volume and monitor each fill station from the touch screen operator control panel. Laub\Hunt Mass-Flow filler represents a new generation of liquid filling technology in the world market today.

Advantages of Laub\Hunt Mag-Flow Filling:

  • Accuracy - Better than traditional piston fillers. Equal to net-weigh fillers.
  • Wide Product Range - From water thin, to foamy to very viscous, water, cleaners, detergents, paints, shampoo, oils, juices, mayonnaise and peanut butters.
  • Unlimited Volumes - fill from ounces to 5 gallons.
  • Sanitary Meters - with 3A flanges and Teflon product contact can be incorporated. CIP flush-out takes minutes, not hours required on piston fillers.
  • Wireless Data Communication - allows operator to adjust fill volume set-counts outside the carousel, at the touch screen. This eliminates hard wired slip rings and high speed counters trapped inside the carousel, and maintenance on electronic devices that are hard to access on a central tower in or above the carousel.
  • Filling Speeds - from 20 per minute on 5 gallons, to 100 per minute on one gallon, to 400 per minute on one quart --- depending on nozzle size and number of filling stations.
  • Cost - On a station to station comparison it will be less than a piston-filler and much less than a net-weigh-filler.
  • Reliability - is designed and manufactured into this system by a company who has a proven track record for engineering quality and long lasting filling systems since 1950.
